Short lease BKR
Many leasing companies check your creditworthiness when you want to lease a car from them. As a result, there is a good chance that you will not be accepted if you have a negative credit rating, for example due to a BKR registration.
On the other hand, it may be important for you not to receive a negative BKR registration when leasing a car, because you want to take out a loan or mortgage in the near future, for example.
At Shortleaseland, our specialists assess your situation themselves; this means that we do not have this done by an external agency or lender. In addition, we make an assessment based on the confidence we have in you and your company, and not primarily based on your annual figures. We believe that you yourself can properly assess whether you are able to meet your payment obligations or not.
This means that you are welcome at Shortleaseland if you have a negative BKR registration, but also if you prefer not to receive a BKR registration when leasing a car. On the pages below you can read in detail how it works.

How does a BKR registration work?
The BKR registers all loans above € 250 that run for more than 1 month and registers whether people pay on time. This information can then be requested by companies when someone wants to take out a loan. Based on this data, companies can determine whether a person is taking on too heavy a financial obligation and whether this person can therefore get a loan or not.
If you are behind on payments or have debt mediation, you will receive a negative BKR registration. For example, a negative registration can stand in the way of a (long-term) lease contract or a mortgage application.
